DESCRIPTION:

ExaGrid is seeking a principal customer support engineer to provide advanced technical support to its customers and partners.  You will apply system-level expertise to resolve complex customer issues while being an active member of the team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing remote support services for ExaGrid’s TSM customers, partners and field personnel
  • Listening to and understanding customer’s needs and assisting to meet those needs within the required timeframe.
  • Managing hot customers and escalations
  • Developing and implementing customer-specific action plans
  • Providing excellent communication externally and internally
  • Supporting special programs and projects within ExaGrid
  • Assisting customers with installations remotely and provide training to customers
  • Developing knowledge-based articles
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Work well in a start-up environment
  • Some light travel

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years of TSM support experience required
  • 3 years of Linux and Windows Administration and maintenance experience
  • Strong system trouble shooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong account management skills
  • Able to work closely with all levels of customers, internal engineers, and management on complex issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Backup applications (TSM, BackupExec, ARCserv, NetBackup, Simpana)
  • Scripting (Perl, shells)
  • Networking and networked storage technologies

EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology

Business Development Representative – Junior ISR

DESCRIPTION:

  • Conduct high-volume prospecting for qualified leads
  • Work closely and collaboratively with assigned Inside Sales Representatives to develop and implement appropriate territory strategies
  • Schedule follow-up calls with ISR and prospect based on availability
  • Ability to quickly conduct research on accounts by using tools such as LinkedIn, RainKing, Data.com and others to determine fit
  • Use of Salesforce.com to track activities
  • Ability to meet defined metric goals

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understanding of SalesForce
  • High energy individual with excellent communication skills, specifically a professional phone manner
  • Able to effectively prospect and dialogue to provide the correct companies and decision makers from cold calling
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

DESCRIPTION: The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business utilizing outbound cold calling and following up on marketing leads. The target audience is managers, directors and VPs of IT in mid-market to small enterprise companies. Candidates should be proficient in calling to IT staff and engaging in a solution-selling dialogue. The inside sales representative will provide qualified prospects to the ExaGrid regional sales staff to work through the sales cycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A proven ability in cold calling IT staff and senior technology executives and prospecting new accounts, with experience within past 3 years selling and prospecting to IT staff
  • Possess a "hunter mentality" and a desire to over-achieve
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Proficiency with contact management software such as salesforce.com, as well as other contact and database tools
  • Extremely organized, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Storage, data backup or data protection experience is a significant plus
  • An outstanding work ethic, strong communication skills, desire to succeed, and a true results-oriented approach

DESCRIPTION: ExaGrid is seeking sales over-achievers with excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota through direct sales process. Successful applicants possess a storage industry reputation for competence, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for winning. Under limited direction meet and exceed assigned quota, build territory revenue, prospect and close named accounts against established competition. Must maintain accurate forecasting as well as clear management communication. Drive referenceable customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of highly successful experience selling storage, networking, or other data center products
  • Must have experience in a startup or small company (most recent 2-4 years)
  • Experience selling a new/single product line, especially against brand
  • Experience opening new accounts
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota
  • BD experience helpful
