Location: Marlborough, MA

Summary:
This highly visible position, reporting directly to the VP of Manufacturing, is responsible for delivering best-in-class logistics solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a best-in-class global logistics strategy to support the current and future needs of the business
• Manage the procurement, customization, packaging, third-party warehousing and global fulfilment of spare parts
• Direct the global asset recovery program
• Act as Program Manager for 3PL provider
• Use best-of-breed inventory methodologies such as VMI, Kanban, min/max etc. to ensure SLA compliance
• Manage all carrier and freight forwarder relationships and contracts
• Serve as primary contact for export trade compliance
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and material flow improvement across the supply chain
• Research and implement packaging solutions for finished goods and customer replaceable units
• Manage all hardware related Customer Support tasks assigned through Salesforce
• Design, deploy and track logistics KPI’s
• Work with resellers and distributors’ logistics providers for fulfillment of routed outbound orders
• Manage global SSL expansion to support international growth

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (areas such as logistics, business, finance, supply chain are preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience working in a high-tech startup environment dealing with global logistics, third-party warehousing, and inventory management
• Proven experience in export compliance
• Advanced experience with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint
• Energetic, self-motivated personality
• Ability to handle heavy workload and competing timelines
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form internally as well as externally
