Description:
ExaGrid provides the industry’s only Tiered Backup Storage solution. ExaGrid is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to support our growing customer base. The Account Manager is responsible for managing the relationship with a set of installed customers. Primary objectives are to sell additional ExaGrid appliances, and ensure the customer stays with ExaGrid for backup storage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Selling additional units to existing customers.
  • Customer retention.
  • Contacting customers who are near capacity on their existing system and selling additional ExaGrid appliances to accommodate the customer’s data growth.
  • Grow the ExaGrid footprint in the customer by identifying data not being backed up to ExaGrid and executing a successful sales campaign to sell additional ExaGrid appliances to accommodate the “new” data.
  • Identify and work with any “at risk” customers (possibly in conjunction with a field rep and SE) to retain the customer, and secure maintenance renewal and additional business.
  • Required to keep accurate records in Salesforce and provide manager with a monthly forecast of add on business.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in business-related field
  • 2-5 years of experience selling technology product in the IT industry
  • Experience closing business over the phone, coordinating with other functions as appropriate
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via the phone and email/internet
  • An outstanding work ethic, desire to succeed, and a true results-oriented approach
  • Growth mindset with a desire to learn and grow professionally
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and tenacious
  • Excellent computer skills (MS-Office). Knowledge of Salesforce.com desirable, but not necessary
  • Candidates and employees of ExaGrid must be honest and ethical in their dealings with customers, reseller partners, and internal stakeholders
