Description:
The Data Management Services team is responsible for the data engine of the ExaGrid product. It is a C++ multithreaded application running on a grid of Linux based appliances that forms the core of the ExaGrid product, handling data deduplication, data integrity, fault tolerance, replication, and load balancing.

We need outstanding C++ developers that are able to dig into and work on a large existing code base, and take a project from requirements analysis through design, implementation, and testing. Supporting the product in the field during customer escalations is also part of the job.

Experience:

• 5 years or more of C++ development in a Linux environment, with increasing responsibility.
• Analysis, design, and development of multi-threaded, multi-process, networked systems.
• Knowledge of boost and/or C++ standard library support for data structures and concurrency.
• Ability to understand, use, and write SQL database queries. Experience creating and maintaining PostgreSQL databases is a plus.
• Familiarity with Unix shell, Perl, and Python scripting.

The following are very helpful:

• Experience with cloud storage systems, e.g. Amazon S3 and/or Azure cloud storage APIs
• Java experience

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer/software engineering or equivalent industry experience.
