Territory Sales Manager

Location:

Description:
ExaGrid is seeking sales over-achievers with excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota through direct sales process. Successful applicants possess a storage industry reputation for competence, professionalism, integrity, and a passion for winning. Under limited direction meet and exceed assigned quota, build territory revenue, prospect and close named accounts against established competition. Must maintain accurate forecasting as well as clear management communication. Drive referenceable customer satisfaction in all assigned.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of highly successful experience selling storage, networking, or other data-center products (appliance)
  • Must have experience in a startup or small company (most recent 2-4 years)
  • Experience selling a new/single product line; especially against brand
  • Experience opening new accounts
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota
  • BD experience helpful

Education:
BA/BS in Computer Science or Technology preferred (or equivalent work experience)

Territory Sales Manager – Federal

Location:
Washington, DC; and either Denver, CO or Southern California

Job Description:

  • Territory Sales Manager for the Federal Business
  • Handle US Federal Government business
  • Report directly to the VP of North American Sales
  • Recruit Federal resellers and integrators
  • Work all contract vehicles to keep them current such as GSA, NETCENTS, SEWP, etc.
  • Work with Federal resellers and integrators to find opportunities
  • Work sales process along side Federal resellers and integrators to co-sell and close the business
  • Work existing ExaGrid customers/agencies for additional purchases and to maintain strong references for new customer sales cycles.

Requirements:

Inside Sales Representative

Location: Westborough, MA

Description:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business utilizing outbound cold calling and following-up on marketing leads. The target audience is managers, directors and VPs of IT in mid-market to small enterprise companies. Candidates should be proficient in calling to IT staff and engaging in a solution-selling dialogue. The inside sales representative will provide qualified prospects to the ExaGrid regional sales staff to work through the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and knows how to win. In addition, the candidate must be hard working, driven, competitive and highly creative.

Minimum Experience
3 or more years previous inside sales experience, preferably calling into IT departments

Qualifications:

  • A proven ability in cold calling IT staff and senior technology executives and prospecting new accounts and through previous experience understand how to qualify a lead
  • Possess a “hunter mentality” and a desire to over-achieve
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Proficiency with contact management software such as salesforce.com, as well as other contact and database tools
  • Extremely organized, able to manage multiple priorities
  • Storage, data backup or data protection experience is a significant plus
  • An outstanding work ethic, strong communication skills, desire to succeed, and a true results-oriented approach

Tele-Sales/Account Manager

Location:
Westborough, MA

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility is customer retention and selling additional units to existing customers.
  • Contacting customers who are near capacity on their existing system and selling additional ExaGrid appliances to accommodate the customer’s data growth.
  • Identify and work with any “at risk” customers (possibly in conjunction with a field rep and SE) to retain the customer, and secure maintenance renewal and additional business.
  • Required to keep accurate records in SalesForce and provide manager with a monthly forecast of add on business and renewals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in business-related field
  • 2-3 years of experience selling technology product in the IT industry
  • Experience closing business over the phone, coordinating with other functions as appropriate
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills via the phone and email/internet
  • An outstanding work ethic, desire to succeed, and a true results-oriented approach
  • Demonstrated leadership skills via work experience, student activities or college athletics highly desirable
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident and tenacious
  • Excellent computer skills (MS-Office). Knowledge of SalesForce.com desirable, but not necessary
  • Part-time sales experience or prior work experience in a job requiring client-facing communications highly desirable.
